Is php, python, or ruby best for backend programming?

PHP is a great language to start out with because of its simplicity, but it boils down to personal preference.

PHP is used by many big companies like Facebook, and has a large community. It's also used by Wordpress which means that there is already a lot of documentation available for PHP developers.

At the end of the day it boils down to what you are trying to achieve with your backend programming language. If your goal is something simple then PHP will work well for you; but if you're looking for more advanced features such as server side rendering or asynchronous requests then Python or Ruby might be better suited

Python is better than Ruby for experienced programmers.

Python is a general-purpose programming language, meaning that it can be used for a wide variety of different tasks. Ruby is more narrowly focused on building web applications, but is still quite versatile in its own right.

As you might expect, Python and Ruby have their own strengths and weaknesses. If you're an experienced programmer looking to build a web application using Python or Ruby as the backend language, here's what you should know:

  • Python is more popular than Ruby among large companies (like Google) and open source projects. This isn't always true in terms of actual users—Ruby has far more users than Python—but it's definitely true in terms of who hires people who use these tools professionally. Additionally, some would argue that Perl (another popular scripting language) shares many similarities with Perl 6 (the new version of Perl), which may make Perl 6 easier for someone who already knows Perl 5 to learn than learning from scratch would be with another language like Go or Rust.*

Python is also a good choice for web development and app development, as well as for programming in general.

Python is a general-purpose programming language that can be used for a wide range of applications. It has been used in web development and app development for a long time, but it is also widely used in machine learning, data science and AI. In fact, Python is the most popular language when it comes to machine learning.

If you want to go into web development, then Ruby would be the best choice because of Rails.

If you want to go into web development, then Ruby would be the best choice because of Rails.

Ruby on Rails is a web development framework that makes it easy to build web applications in Ruby. It's open source, which means it's free to use and available on GitHub. Rails also happens to be a full-stack framework, which means it handles the front end and back end of your application—allowing developers to focus on building their app instead of spending time coding the basics.

PHP is the language that powers WordPress, and many sites use it as the server-side language.

It's good to start with PHP because it's easy to learn, but that doesn't mean you should only learn PHP though—there are plenty of other languages out there that may suit you better depending on what type of work you want to do in the future.

Python can do almost anything from server side to desktop apps and is used by major tech companies like Google and Yahoo.

Python is a general purpose programming language. It can be used for things like web development, machine learning and scientific computing. The fact that it's so flexible means that python can be applied to pretty much any problem you throw at it. And while there are other languages which may be better suited to specific problems, python has gained significant popularity over the past few years due to its versatility and ease of use.

As I mentioned earlier, many major tech companies use python as their primary language including Google and Yahoo!. If you're interested in working at a company like this then I would definitely recommend starting with Python!

Ruby is typically used for server-side web development, but it was designed with developer productivity in mind.

Ruby is a general-purpose language that’s used for web development and many other things. It’s designed to be easy to learn, but it also has some powerful features that make it a powerful programming language.

To get started with Ruby, you need the following:

  • A text editor or IDE (I recommend Atom)

  • Ruby installed on your computer (I recommend RVM)

The most important thing to consider when deciding on a language is where you want to use it.

The most important thing to consider when deciding on a language is where you want to use it. If your goal is to become a professional backend engineer, it's in your best interest to learn the language that will help you get there.

There are many languages that can be used for backend programming and each one comes with its own pros and cons. Many people list Python as one of their top choices because it has been around since 1991 and has been gaining popularity among employers over time. The language is easy-to-learn (which makes it great for beginners), highly versatile, and relatively simple compared to other popular programming languages like C++ or Java .

On the other hand, Ruby has also seen an increase in demand over recent years as well thanks largely due its increased popularity within Silicon Valley - which means there could be plenty more opportunities down the line if this trend continues!
